Grindstone

The edges have the perfect amount of bite and comfort for finger training. Top rung is nice for pull-ups or hanging core work as well. You can easily train any combination of fingers on the edges. If all you want to do is edge train I can’t recommend it enough.

Great training board that combines all the requirements climbers have for a fingerboard. Ideal grip and beautiful workmanship – definitely my favourite board!

I'll start by saying that I love the shape and design of the Grindstone. Unfortunately, the board I received is really ugly. 80% of the hangboard is a sickly green color. The other 20% (unfortunately mostly on the back of the board) is colored more like normal wood. It looks like it's made of pressure-treated lumber, but I'm sure it's just poplar that picked up minerals and turned green. The board doesn't resemble any other Grindstone I've seen online or in person. I'm not sure what to do, either stain it so that it doesn't look like my hangboard has an upset stomach, or possibly try to bleach the greenish hue out by leaving it in the sun for a week(?).

Also, the quality of the CNC routing on the edges of the hangboard isn't what I expected. There's quite a few burrs, small splinters, and rough transitions at the outer margins of the edges. I don't know, given the steep price I was expecting a nice hangboard out of the box, not a crafts project.

I love using the grindstone for my warm-up!

My favorite hangboard, every edge thats needed at a good spread for the shoulders. Easy installation
